Riverside Medical Clinic had established a team of surgeons that is second to none. Our surgeons have an extensive education that will ensure that you are well taken care of. Dr. Nicholas Zekos has been with Riverside Medical Clinic since 1983 and specializes in General, Thoracic, and Peripheral Vascular Surgery, along with Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Subbu Nagappan has been with Riverside Medical Clinic for ten years and specializes in Trauma, Vascular and General Surgery. Dr. Thomas Takei specializes in Trauma and General Surgery. Dr. Kambiz Zainabadi has also joined us to compliment our world-class team.

Although we contract with a wide range of insurance plans, Riverside Medical Clinic understands that hospitals may not contract with these same plans. With this in mind, our physicians have established privileges at Riverside Community Hospital and Parkview Community Hospital so that our patients have a choice. In addition, our doctor's staffs have a background in proper insurance billing, so patients can focus on their recovery and not on any insurance issues.

To ensure our patients have a complete understand of their medical conditions, our Surgery department provides each patient with either a pamphlet on their condition, the number for Reach for Recovery, physical therapy, or Riverside Medical Clinic's medical library.
