As the population ages, the need for medical services increases and
Riverside Medical Clinic is gearing up to meet the increased demand for
preventative and diagnostic radiology. With the opening of our new main
clinic facility on Brockton Avenue, we've enhanced our Nuclear Medicine
capabilities, important for cardiology procedures, we've added a PET Scan
for cancer detection, and upgraded our MRI. And now we have the only
64-slice CT in the Inland Empire. Our PACS digital imaging system improves
the timeliness of care and treatment by making images available to all
members of the the care team instantly.
Riverside Medical Clinic's Radiology department has several locations to
add to your convenience. Along with the Brockton Avenue
clinic, Canyon
Springs, Corona, and Jurupa Valley can provide your physician with the needed x-ray. Appointments may be necessary for certain
procedures.
Riverside Medical Clinic is one of the few clinics in the area to have an
on-site Dexa Bone Mineral Density scanner. The scanner is a low radiation
method of measuring how much calcium is in the bones, and is used primarily
in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis. The diagnosis is painless
and patients may usually complete it within ten minutes without removing
their clothing.
Other services provided in our Radiology department are ultrasound and
mammography. Most patients relate ultrasounds to our obstetric patients, but
we also provide pelvic, abdominal and liver ultrasounds. To get more
information on the different types of x-rays, search
